I saw lots of wildlife on the trip from Salt Lake to Frisco, CO. There were Deer near Vernal,UT and inside the monument. I spooked 3 different groupings of deer on Monument Mnt. I saw 3 large birds of prey resting on poles near the road near Maybell, CO. A herd of antelope near Maybell, CO(right after I was reading a sign that discussed antelope and thought, you know I have never seen antelope). And finally coyotes on the top of Monument Mnt while I was eating my lunch(more about that later).
